Directors Alex Duperouzel Alex is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Background Asia.  Alex is based between Hong Kong and Singapore and also spends a lot of time in the field on our cases.  Prior to starting Background Asia, Alex was a Managing Director with Kroll Associates in Hong Kong specialising in financial fraud investigations.  Alex is also a Chartered Accountant registered in Australia and prior to coming to Asia in 1991 he worked in Australia on corporate reconstruction and insolvency issues. Alex specialises in fraud investigations and complex commercial intelligence cases particularly for the financial industry and for those involved in primary industry and large development projects.  Alex is also involved in a number of anti corruption consulting projects and assists with the development of the Background Asia Risk Solutions corporate security business. Philippa can be reached on +65 6533 8834 or by email.   Nick Lemmon Nick manages the Background Asia office in Hong Kong.  Prior to joining Background Asia, Nick was in house counsel in the Hong Kong office of Allianz Dresdner Asset Management and prior to that was Regional Counsel for Kroll Fact Finders in Hong Kong.  During his work with Allianz Dresdner Nick was involved in a wide range of regulatory advice and liaison with the Hong Kong SFC.  Nick arrived in Hong Kong from Australia in 2000.  In Australia, Nick worked as a Barrister and Solicitor for both private firms and government funded entities where he represented clients in a number of criminal litigation issues.  Nick qualified in 1994 and is admitted in Australia and Hong Kong.
